Message In A Bottle To Save Breaking In

Save Breaking In

Save Breaking In

This is a guest post by RosenbaumMedia.us reader Lauren Gottlieb that we decided to post here to save “Breaking In” a new TV Comedy that stars Michael Rosenbaum as Dutch and that RosenbaumMedia really believes on. If you want to see your article here as well, just write a post and send it to my email, or post it in the News Section of RosenbaumMedia Coffee Time, If it’s good and new enough, it will be published.

Hello Fellow Rosenbuds, I am taking this opportunity that “RosenbaumMedia” has given me to inform all fellow nerds and Rosenbaum fans about the Campaigns both On Facebook and Twitter that were immediately launched once the news that FOX had given “Breaking In” the Death Sentence.

The Campaigns are both called #SaveBreakingIn you can go to Twitter and Follow @SaveBreakingIn also go to Facebook.com/SaveBreakingIn and “Like”.  Let’s band together and resurrect, yet another, Great Show that has been put to Death long before its time.

If you have had a chance to see “Breaking In”, either on your own or because you are a Rosenbaum fan, then you know how funny it is. You laugh your buttocks off each week at the jokes, pranks, the Nerd References and Episodes dedicated to Lost Classics such as the “Truffle Shuffle” delivered to you from a fine cast of the most brilliant comedians.  Did you know that they Ad-Lib a lot of what they say?!

Maybe some of you, are hooked on the current Genre of TV Shows, such as the various varieties of Law & Order, CSI’s, Criminal Mind’s, or the 8 shows on dedicated to ‘Cupcakes’ but this is a lost genre that only exists in “The Big Bang Theory” and “Futurama”, if none of you want to save it for the rest of the Nerds that just want to watch something that Funny like instead of the plethora of Crime, Hospital, Cooking and Teen Pregnancy Shows that we are currently subjected to, then please help to save it for the handsome and (amazingly) talented, Michael Rosenbaum. This show was good enough to still get picked up after the Pilot was rejected last May.  This time they are giving the ‘US’ viewers, a chance to give this show the defense it needs to overturn its Death Sentence and run, not walk, Far ‘FAR’ away from the ‘Green Mile’.

So please Join me and everyone else, including cast, producers, various celebrities, and an abundance of fans, in the fight to #SaveBreakingIn so go to Twitter @SaveBreakingInFacebook.com/SaveBreakingIn .

Follow, Like, but most importantly they need our viewer ratings. So Tune into the Finale that airs today May 17th, after Raising Hope, at 9:30 EST.

#BREAKINGIN Season Finale on special night TUE @ 9:30 pm on @FOXbroadcasting after new eps of @Glee@RaisingHope #SaveBreakingIn Pls RT!

Remember we can change this from a “Series” Finale to a “Season” Finale.

Thank You

Lauren Gottlieb

Do You Believe in Second Chances?

Busted Dutch

If you remember well, Michael Rosenbaum announced on his twitter that Breaking In had been canceled by Fox. We were all surprised to hear that news, since this show had a good ratings every week, and people started to get to know every character, especially the hilarious and lovely Dutch (played by Michael Rosenbaum). Fox took such a drastic decision of canceling this comedy, coz they were thinking that it benefited from the good ratings of American Idol, that aired just before it.

But It seems that our voices through Facebook pages and Twitter have finally been heard by Fox, since they are reconsidering canceling the show and they are giving to Breaking In, one last chance to prove them, that they were totally wrong to cancel this promising TV Comedy. So instead of canceling it without strong reasons, they decided to move it to another TV time slot and see how things will work out for it. The final episode titled 21.0 Jump St will now air Tuesday night after “Raising Hope”.

Fox has given a chance to Breaking In fans to prove them that they didn’t get it right, and that the show still has so many things to offer, and Michael Rosenbaum, through his twitter account, is counting on you to support this project he is working on :

Need you guys to tell everyone! Damn! http://t.co/qrbXBMM

We also would like to remind you that we have posted last week, the official photo stills from this upcoming episode but we didn’t have any official description to share with you, things have changed now since Fox has released the official description of the season finale episode of Breaking In, that we remind you, will air this coming Tuesday, May 17

Show Some Brother(ly) Love!!!

Today has been a busy news day on RosenbaumMedia. Of course some of the news was NOT to the liking of Breaking In fans or Michael Rosenbaum fans. I hope all the great videos of Michael have soothed fans’ (myself among you) hurt over losing Breaking In. No? Well, if you’re into social activism (or simply a fan of Breaking In) then follow the advice of a previous article, posted earlier today! The abridged version? Go to this Twitter page, follow it and then hashtag the Hades out of #savebreakingin!!!

Michael has been out and about today and while a good bit of the talk has been about Breaking In, that hasn’t been the ONLY thing on his mind! He sat down to share those thoughts on “Attack of the Show” on G4. Watch and listen while he takes on the future of Breaking In, the Smallville finale and his love for a certain WWF/WWE personality. The tip for this entertaining video was given to us via Michael, on his Twitter (or should I say Tweeter?  :-) ) page. Thanks for the heads up Michael!

One more thing, ‘Buds, The CW has a video that, while not exhibiting Michael in the forefront, will be of interest to you. In it, Tom Welling talks about what it was like to work with Michael again. You get his prospective on the finale as well as some backstage video of the two of them filming the last scenes they share on Smallville. Check that out here. I have to thank Connor Stanhope (who you may remember as a young Lex) for posting that on HIS Twitter feed. After a look to the very near future of Smallville, check out Michael’s memories of episodes past.

Don’t forget to support the fight to save Breaking In by using the hashtag #savebreakingin on Twitter AND watching the show, which airs its last (?) episode (titled 21.0 Jump St.) on Wednesday, May 18th at 9:30 p.m. EST/8:30 CST right after American Idol. I know you all have it DVR’d and marked on your calendars but here’s another reminder, watch the two-hour series finale of Smallville on your local CW starting on May 13th at 8:00 p.m. EST/7p.m. CST.

The Axe is Dropped on Breaking In … Or Maybe NOT !!!

Michael Rosenbaum

Michael Rosenbaum was the first to announce it on his twitter account !! Fox has canceled “Breaking In”.

Breaking In cancelled.Had an amazing time & love my talented pal @adamfgoldberg.Thanks for support guys.I truly loved this cast. A Sad day.

Source: mrosenbaum711@Twitter

The news of Breaking In was a bit of a surprise. The comedy ‘Breaking In,’ came in as a midseason replacement airing straight after ratings juggernaut ‘American Idol’, and it was indeed on the renewal bubble, but from what we’ve all seen, the ratings were actually quite good for the comedy, which benefited from an American Idol lead in, and we were all expecting Fox to renew this comedy, but reviews have the series itself were mixed. Some loved it, some hated it. Best guess is that FOX thought that the show was only being watched because of the notorious ratings that American Idol draws in each week.

FOX is expected to officially announce the cancellations of Breaking In tomorrow morning.

In more positive news, Fox will air in few hours the 6th and before the last episode of “Breaking In” titled “Breaking Out”. You can check out the photo stills we posted from this episode and read the official description.

Michael Rosenbaum invites all his fans and all those who like this show to watch the two last episodes of Breaking In, and show their support through Twitter.com/savebreakingin, Use #savebreakingin to tell FOX that BREAKING IN should be SAVED!

Twitter.com/savebreakingin – please go to this and watch us tonight. Who freaking knows? This show never says die… just like the GOONIES.

These following few words are going to Michael Rosenbaum :

Maybe Breaking In has been (wrongly) canceled, but your true fans are 100% behind you. You have proved to everyone that you are a very talented actor and an amazing writer, and it’s not a bad news like this one that will make us change our opinion on you. Look to the bright side  your short GHILD won an award in the category “Outstanding Achievement in Short Film-making.” at the Newport Beach Film Festival, and it’s something that you should be proud of, since you are the writer and producer of this positively acclaimed short movie.

A few very brief frames featuring Lex have surfaced recently in a series of short clips and previews which don’t really tell that much.

And the Award Goes to… Ghild!

As we announced on our blog and Michael Rosenbaum posted on his Twitter account, Ghild- the short he wrote and starred and David Yarovesky directed- premièred at the New York Children’s International Film Festival on March 26th. The original and visually stunning short was very well received in the Big Apple and now, less than a month and half after its official release , it’s been awarded what I believe will be the first of many accolades.

newport

The Newport Beach Film Festival was the second venue to have shown Ghild last Monday and Michael has just tweeted the  wonderful news of Ghild’s win in the category called Outstanding Achievement in Short Film-making.”

Wow. Our short GHILD won Outstanding Achievement in Short Filmmaking at the Newport Beach Film Festl. I never win awards! This is cool!

Source: mrosenbaum711@Twitter

We knew we were witnessing something special when that trailer surfaced; a sneak peek was enough to appreciate its mind-blowing aesthetics and its original storytelling. And something tells me this festival won’t be the first one to recognise the talent on the screen and behind the scenes of Ghild.

A huge congratulations to Michael and the creative team that made this short possible. May it be the first of many!

I know you must be as excited and anxious as me to see Ghild finally hit the commercial circuit. Well… we’ll have to be patient. How about checking out that fantastic trailer once again? (http://newportbeach.slated.com/2011/films/ghild_davidyarovesky_newportbeach2011)

Yes,… Even a Villain Can Save the Day !!

Michael Rosenbaum

As we’ve already reported it yesterday, Michael Rosenbaum made a brief appearance on MTV’s “10 on Top” show this morning at 11:30 EST.

During this very short interview, Michael Rosenbaum promoted Smallville series’ final episode in which he made his last appearance as the iconic villain Lex Luthor. We also could have listened to his (ex)-costar Tom Welling who gave some anecdotes on how the filming went. Welling told us some quite interesting stories about Michael Rosenbaum.

Did you miss the show? Do you live out of US? Don’t worry, you can still watch it!! Thanks to my friend Scarlett from TWU who shared with us a link to a video of “10 on Top” posted on YouTube.

Smallville series’ final episode will air this coming Friday, May 13. To keep us waiting, The CW has already released a video interview with Cassidy Freeman talking about Michael Rosenbaum’s return to the Smallville set with behind the scenes footage, and a Behind the Scenes video with Erica Durance and Michael Rosenbaum in the series finale! In addition to that official video trailer The CW has released a couple of weeks ago.

We also would like to remind you that RosenbaumMedia has also posted in its gallery some episodic photos from the series finale featuring Michael Roenbaum as Lex Luthor.

And if you still think that’s not enough to keep you entertained until next Friday, TV Guide has posted a transcription of an interview with Michael Rosenbaum who talked about Lex’s Finale Return to Smallville.

We also would like to remind you that Michael Rosenbaum will make one last appearance in one of the series’ final episodes of Smallville, that will air next Friday, May 13. Until then, you can still view one of the latest and maybe the very last episodic photos featuring Michael Roenbaum as Lex Luthor, and a  promotional trailer from the very last episode of Smallville titled “Finale”.
