I was contacted today by Evansville Magazine who told us about the recent opportunity they had to meet with Michael Rosenbaum who went back to his hometown of Newburgh, Indiana to produce his very first and new comedy titled “Old Days” which revolves around the story of an unsuccessful Hollywood Star who returns to his hometown in Indiana.
Are you curious to know what Michael had to say about his new project ? Well, then hurry up and check out Evansville Living’s new interview.

And for those who might be interested, here is the storyline of “Old Days” :
Jim Owens is an actor whose only claim to fame is starring in a nationwide insurance commercial. Discouraged with the way his career is going, he decides to go back to the small town in Indiana where he grew up, for the holidays and his 15 year high school reunion. Eager to reunite with his old buddies and relive the glory days, Jim bumps into his high school sweetheart and is surprised to find that he still has feelings for her… even though she’s getting married in a week. After getting all of his friends in hot water with their wives and with his ex-girl friend’s wedding day approaching, Jim must make a decision that will change his life forever. Show Some Brother(ly) Love!!!
May 12th
Today has been a busy news day on RosenbaumMedia. Of course some of the news was NOT to the liking of Breaking In fans or Michael Rosenbaum fans. I hope all the great videos of Michael have soothed fans’ (myself among you) hurt over losing Breaking In. No? Well, if you’re into social activism (or simply a fan of Breaking In) then follow the advice of a previous article, posted earlier today! The abridged version? Go to this Twitter page, follow it and then hashtag the Hades out of #savebreakingin!!!
Michael has been out and about today and while a good bit of the talk has been about Breaking In, that hasn’t been the ONLY thing on his mind! He sat down to share those thoughts on “Attack of the Show” on G4. Watch and listen while he takes on the future of Breaking In, the Smallville finale and his love for a certain WWF/WWE personality. The tip for this entertaining video was given to us via Michael, on his Twitter (or should I say Tweeter?
) page. Thanks for the heads up Michael!
One more thing, ‘Buds, The CW has a video that, while not exhibiting Michael in the forefront, will be of interest to you. In it, Tom Welling talks about what it was like to work with Michael again. You get his prospective on the finale as well as some backstage video of the two of them filming the last scenes they share on Smallville. Check that out here. I have to thank Connor Stanhope (who you may remember as a young Lex) for posting that on HIS Twitter feed. After a look to the very near future of Smallville, check out Michael’s memories of episodes past.
Don’t forget to support the fight to save Breaking In by using the hashtag #savebreakingin on Twitter AND watching the show, which airs its last (?) episode (titled 21.0 Jump St.) on Wednesday, May 18th at 9:30 p.m. EST/8:30 CST right after American Idol. I know you all have it DVR’d and marked on your calendars but here’s another reminder, watch the two-hour series finale of Smallville on your local CW starting on May 13th at 8:00 p.m. EST/7p.m. CST.

Few days ago, the Young Hollywood reporter Oliver Trevena had the chance to meet and interview Michael Rosenbaum at the Young Hollywood Studios inside the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
I took the initiative to contact YoungHollywood.com and they were kind enough to exclusively share with us some highlights as a teaser for the interview segment they did with Michael Rosenbaum.
The interview will focus mainly on the series finale of SMALLVILLE, in addition to Michael’s love of music from the 80s. It’s a cute lifestyle-segment that fans of Michael Rosenbaum should love because it really demonstrates his charisma and personality.

Not Only Cats Have Memories
May 9th
Warning: This article contains spoilerish material concerning Smallville. If reading and/or watching such material isn’t your cup of tea, stop here.
With the series finale of Smallville fast approaching and Michael Rosenbaum returning to the show for a second goodbye, fans are getting anxious to have a peek at what the CW is trying to keep under wraps. A few very brief frames featuring Lex have surfaced recently in a series of short clips and previews which don’t really tell that much.

This article doesn’t focus on what’s to come but rather on what was. I’m sure that those of us who fell in love with Michael’s creation have our own treasured memories of Lex. So… how about getting to know what Michael‘s are?
Check out the interview with Michael which the CW aired as part of a series called Memories and find out the answer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXeYHbm83oI

As we’ve already reported it yesterday, Michael Rosenbaum made a brief appearance on MTV’s “10 on Top” show this morning at 11:30 EST.
During this very short interview, Michael Rosenbaum promoted Smallville series’ final episode in which he made his last appearance as the iconic villain Lex Luthor. We also could have listened to his (ex)-costar Tom Welling who gave some anecdotes on how the filming went. Welling told us some quite interesting stories about Michael Rosenbaum.
Did you miss the show? Do you live out of US? Don’t worry, you can still watch it!! Thanks to my friend Scarlett from TWU who shared with us a link to a video of “10 on Top” posted on YouTube.
Smallville series’ final episode will air this coming Friday, May 13. To keep us waiting, The CW has already released a video interview with Cassidy Freeman talking about Michael Rosenbaum’s return to the Smallville set with behind the scenes footage, and a Behind the Scenes video with Erica Durance and Michael Rosenbaum in the series finale! In addition to that official video trailer The CW has released a couple of weeks ago.
We also would like to remind you that RosenbaumMedia has also posted in its gallery some episodic photos from the series finale featuring Michael Roenbaum as Lex Luthor.
And if you still think that’s not enough to keep you entertained until next Friday, TV Guide has posted a transcription of an interview with Michael Rosenbaum who talked about Lex’s Finale Return to Smallville.

I’d like to thank my very good friend Scarlett from TWU website who emailed me a couple of hours ago to let me know that both Michael Rosenbaum and his (ex)-costar Tom Welling who plays the legendary character, Clark Kent on Smallville will make an appearance on MTV’s “10 on Top” show this Saturday, May 7th at 11:30 EST, and that’s according to one of MTV’s latest tweet :
We’re SUPER excited to have Tom Welling & @mrosenbaum711 from #Smallville on @10onTop, Sat at 11:30am on @MTV @CW_Smallville @SmallvilleBuzz
Source : 10onTop@Twitter
Unfortunately we don’t have any additional information regarding this upcoming show, but we will keep you updated if/once we get anything new.
We also would like to remind you that Michael Rosenbaum will make one last appearance in one of the series’ final episodes of Smallville, that will air next Friday, May 13. Until then, you can still view one of the latest and maybe the very last episodic photos featuring Michael Roenbaum as Lex Luthor, and a promotional trailer from the very last episode of Smallville titled “Finale”.

Car #48 Is In Episode #3! Let’s Make It #1!!!
Apr 20th
Good things come in threes or maybe threes are good things. In this case, both are true. Tonight’s episode is the third for FOX’s “Breaking In” and in what looks like a trend I AGAIN have three Rosenbaum-related links for your viewing pleasure. Racing and nerd-laden security firms go together like peanutbutter and jelly, well…maybe more like grape jelly and sausage. Sounds crazy but it works, just check out this teaser for “Need For Speed” and see if you don’t agree.
Bret Harrison, who plays Cameron on the show, was recently interviewed by T.V. Guide. He talked about how unlike Cameron he is, gave a spoiler on what happens to Michael in the episode “Take the Movie and Run” and had some other great things to say about Michael too! Check out the full interview here. If you’re feeling particularly Michael-centric I’m posting the crucial quotes (you know, the parts with Michael’s name in them) below (thanks to SingsLikeONJ for the tip and the transcription):
TV Guide Magazine: Can you leak any info on the season?
Harrison: We have an episode devoted to The Goonies. [It's] a full-on fanboy episode where we go to Comic-Con… We’re hired to deliver Goonies 2: The Legend of Sloth in time for the premiere and, of course, we lose it.Spoiler:
TV Guide Magazine: That’s gotta be a sight.
Harrison: First of all, Rosenbaum is a crazy person and I love him to death. He is so good with improvising.TV Guide Magazine: Do you guys improv a lot on the show?
Harrison: Quite a bit. We did an episode with Alyssa Milano that was improvised so much… She did great! And Rosenbaum kills it. Most of his scene in the pilot was improv.
Since Bret mentioned the fourth episode, “Take the Movie and Run”,it’s a great time to let you all know that it will NOT be aired on April 27, due to a tape-delay,90-minute American Idol. “Take the Tape and Run” will instead air on Wednesday,May 4th at 9:30 EST/8:30 CST, right after Idol. That means after tonight’s episode we have to wait no one but TWO weeks for a new episode. The premise for it is so awesome (Comic-Con,light sabers,a Goonies sequel) that I’m sure it won’t be missed by any fans. Until then, we have tonight’s episode, “Need for Speed“, coming on at 9:30 EST/8:30 CST on your local FOX station (immediately after American Idol). If I can’t persuade you, perhaps Michael can, via his latest Tweet:
Tomorrow night’s a big one folks.need those ratings.Tell everyone & their mothers to watch @breakinginonfox 930pm after idol.thanks to all.

Afterwards, join us on our forum- RosenbaumMedia Forum,Coffee Time, to talk about it.

RosenbaumMedia came across an exclusive video interview that Michael Rosenbaum gave to Fox and that lasts 2 minutes, describing his character Dutch from the all new series Breaking In.
Unfortunately we are not allowed to share this interview, since the video is the property of Fox Television and the channel network still has the exclusivity to air it first, but we took the liberty to make screen captures.
I’m sure you are all gonna enjoy these captures, since the copy of this video we’ve been able to get is in HD Quality, and that means the captures you are going to see are in Hi-Res as well.
Check out more than 90 Exclusive screen captures from this interview!!!
Even though we can’t share the video with you, we’ve made a transcription. You’ll find below some interesting quotes from this interview :
- I’ll tell you what “Breaking In” is: It’s a security team of intellectual misfits…
- My character Dutch isn’t part of the team yet; he’s Melanie’s boyfriend…
- Dutch is pretty amazing character, at least he thinks so…
- Melanie dates me because at home, it’s like Burke Williams, you know !! She gets massages… I treat her like a princess…
- Dutch’s personal style is amazing and he knows how to treat the ladies…
- Dutch Nilbog is a thoughtful, loud, boisterous, yellow-hummer-driving, charming lad…
- Dutch is such a fun character to play…

Anticipation is running high at RosenbaumMedia, as we all wait for the debut of “Breaking In”. We’ve added a countdown clock to drive everyone mad until Wednesday night. We’ve brought you episode pics, we’ve brought you Tweets from Michael and interviews from many of the Breaking In cast, including Michael (of course!). It’s a lot of information, entertaining swag, to be sure. We HAD to outdo ourselves, this time courtesy Tasabian and her finds on YouTube.
First, a video from FOX Sports reported by Bruce Simmons on Brusimm.com features Jimmy Johnson, NASCAR driver extraordinary. The video shows us a very animated Michael in a scene with Jimmy and gives us more glimpses of scenes that Jimmy has, as well as Michael in some crisp business attire. There are lots of smiles on-set and the energy between everyone is sure to show through on the show. The second video is from FOX Sports as well but has a couple of bonuses. with a few words from Michael and Jimmy.
Until the clock hits 00:00:00 at 9:30 Eastern/8:30 Central time, April 6 on FOX, keep yourself busy with all these Breaking In goodies we’ve brought you.
As always RosenbaumMedia is your best source for exclusive hi-res photos and information on all things Rosenbaum.
RosenbaumMedia would like to extend a big thank you to Tasabian for her tip.
