Don’t Be Scared, I’m Just Here to Kill You !!!

As you may already know, Michael Rosenbaum is working on several promising projects, either as an actor or as a director, sometimes even both, and one of the most recent project, he tweeted about twice is “Fade Into You”,

From the official trailer we’ve watched, this short film looks both talented and great, promising romances, mysteries and thrillers.

Have to say – it is quite different from what we’re used to see Michael Rosenbaum doing and maybe that’s what makes it even more interesting to watch. Another project RosenbaumMedia really believes in its success.

We’ve contacted Michael Rosenbaum‘s management and they were kind enough to share exclusively with our website a description of this movie with some interesting details :

FADE INTO YOU is a short movie that Michael Rosenbaum wrote and directed, starring Danielle Harris (Hatchet 2, Rob Zombie’s Halloween) and A.J. Bowen (House of the Devil and The Signal). It’s a romantic comedy thriller about something that could happen to anyone, anywhere. Just when life seems to be going your way, your past comes back to get you. The short was inspired by one of the best songs ever made, Fade Into you by Mazzy Star. Haunting and beautiful.

We still don’t have an official release date, but we will keep you informed whenever we have a new update.

I would like to take this chance to thank again Michael’s management for baring with me and my requests, also thank you for your kindness and for sharing all these exclusive materials with our website, trusting our website really means a lot to us and to our members.

And the Award Goes to… Ghild!

As we announced on our blog and Michael Rosenbaum posted on his Twitter account, Ghild- the short he wrote and starred and David Yarovesky directed- premièred at the New York Children’s International Film Festival on March 26th. The original and visually stunning short was very well received in the Big Apple and now, less than a month and half after its official release , it’s been awarded what I believe will be the first of many accolades.

newport

The Newport Beach Film Festival was the second venue to have shown Ghild last Monday and Michael has just tweeted the  wonderful news of Ghild’s win in the category called Outstanding Achievement in Short Film-making.”

Wow. Our short GHILD won Outstanding Achievement in Short Filmmaking at the Newport Beach Film Festl. I never win awards! This is cool!

Source: mrosenbaum711@Twitter

We knew we were witnessing something special when that trailer surfaced; a sneak peek was enough to appreciate its mind-blowing aesthetics and its original storytelling. And something tells me this festival won’t be the first one to recognise the talent on the screen and behind the scenes of Ghild.

A huge congratulations to Michael and the creative team that made this short possible. May it be the first of many!

I know you must be as excited and anxious as me to see Ghild finally hit the commercial circuit. Well… we’ll have to be patient. How about checking out that fantastic trailer once again? (http://newportbeach.slated.com/2011/films/ghild_davidyarovesky_newportbeach2011)

Carpenter, De Palma, step aside. Here comes the ‘Baum! [Title added]

If you’ve been paying close attention to Michael Rosenbaum‘s latest Tweets, you must have noticed something is cooking. All those Halloween events he’s been frequenting of late and all those 1980′s horror classics he’s been revisiting these past weeks must have been intended to set him in the mood for some shivers and screams of his own.

Yes, guys, Michael is shooting a short film with friends in LA and seems to be having a lot of fun. I wonder what master of horror he’s decided to take as his muse… I don’t know why, but his latest Tweet reminded me of Sissy Spacek and that unforgettable” bloody bucket” scene in Carrie; though, a lot less red and a lot more brownish. *wrinkles her nose*

Let the man speak for himself:

Day 1 of fliming went til 5:43 AM. Great crew. Great performances. Now we get to bloody Day 2. Shit is about to go down.

Can’t wait for the new baby to land screaming on our screens . *Rosemary someone?*

ETA: Michael’s currently editing the short film and he’s revealed its title and cast on his Twitter page.

Wrapped and start editing FADE INTO YOU.Very exciting. Thanks to my great cast,Danielle Harris @halloweengal ,A.J. Bowen and Danny Mackey.
