Today, 17 March 2012, marks the fifth anniversary on the launch of our Michael Rosenbaum’s dedicated website. www.RosenbaumMedia.us . As I looked into the past and analyzed what I learned and the metamorphosis that the site went through, I thought it would be interesting to share it.

Website Platform

As we started our journey, we believed that LiveJournal was the right platform for us, but as time went by, we found out that there were a lot of limitations, and it would require lots of development. So we decided to migrate from LiveJournal to WordPress.

In terms of platforms, we worked with social networks like Twitter and Facebook to promote the site.

Website Content

Content was always our main focus, we strive to bring the most interesting content so that our readers enjoy surfing the website. With that in mind, we established contact with various persons who were involved with Michael Rosenbaum.

A lot of professional websites have trusted us with Exclusive materials they shared with us, and we did our best not to deceive them. For example our recent and exclusive interview with Ben Shelton, the producer of “The Daly Show“, Young Hollywood website has EXCLUSIVELY  shared with us information and pictures from an interview they did with Michael Rosenbaum. Evansville Magazine and News4U have agreed to share with us materials they published on their magazines, and even Michael Rosenbaum himself shared with us pictures that were taken from the Whiffleball Tourney “a very private event” he attended to.

I think that the most important thing that made RosenbaumMedia so successful among all of his fans, is the way we handle info and pictures we receive. We think that “respect” and “privacy” are the two key words that got your attention as well as Michael’s and his management, and that’s one of the reasons that convinced professional magazines and production to contact us and share with us some of the very exclusive materials we posted during these past 5 years.

As I’ve already published it in my previous article, with the huge success of RosenbaumMedia and since neither lillianschild (news reporter) nor me can cover all the info and news we have on Michael Rosenbaum, I’ve decided to give a chance to those who wanna take it and offer a couple of new positions, as News reporter, and as Forum Administrator.

I’ve already received several applications, and I’m still expecting to receive many others in the coming days, nevertheless, I’ve also received emails from persons who are interested by one of the positions I’m offering and who would like to apply, but it seems that for unknown reasons they are facing difficulties to apply either because they see 404 error message or the page doesn’t load at all, and since I’m looking to give a chance to everyone, I’ve tried to find a solution to those who can’t apply using the software I’ve implemented to the website.

All you need to do, is click on the position you are interested by (see the links below), and then copy the questions and send it by email to hamlat@rosenbaummedia.us filled with the information, as required. :

RosenbaumMedia.us since the day that has been created (almost 4 years ago, already) has always been free to visitors, and I have every intention of it remaining that way. Sadly, running this website is not free, thanks to Beverly from MRO who kindly offered me to host my website on her own server, after the big crisis I went through and she gave me all the accesses I needed to manage it without any restriction, but still, there are sadly other costs involved in running this site such as domain renewal fees, the large photogallery I present you with, that offers you Hi-Res pictures (especially the exclusive ones ) and other projects I’m working on lately and which are the primary direct expenses, running several hundred dollars per year at least (for example I’ve spent almost $100 just this past month on website related things and the expenses are just rising up, especially with the recent success of this website), and unfortunately obsession doesn’t really pay, at least not in this case.

I think we all hate advertisements all over web sites. However, since I run this site without any revenue-generating ads, the money for these expenses comes right out of my own pocket.

Many of you have already helped with the site in innumerable ways, from sharing screencaps and graphics to editing and researching. Thank you so much for your efforts.
