Fresh from his well deserved Holiday in Mexico after finishing up filming for Old Days. Michael and his friends (Chris, Tommy and one of his other pal) headed this past Saturday night to see Chaka Kahn, a famous American R&B/soul singer .

What a freaking blast of a night! Listening to some Chaka Kahn and rocking it.

PopCandiesTV (a YouTube Channel that connects fans with their favorite celebrity moments) were there and caught a clip of our boy arriving and asked Michael what his plans were for this mothers day.

It’s obvious that the boys enjoyed their concert. Do you wonder how we know that? Well check out the tweet Michael posted and how proudly he displayed his nuts!!

Me and the boys and our nuts! http://t.co/3MXtizYv

The day after, Sunday 13th, was a special day in the US as it was the day that honors mothers and motherhood, I’m of course talking about the Mother’s day. Since Michael Rosenbaum was far away from Indiana and from his mother he had his own original way on how to celebrate it. He decided to head to the mall with a couple of friends after posting a small but very funny thanks to his mom.

I’d like to thank my mother for not smoking too much pot during her pregnancy with me.Happy M-Day to all you mothers out there.

Source: mrosenbaum711@Twitter

Obviously he didn’t foresee his ER room visit in his up and coming plans, so he may want to re think that view after the events of yesterday.

Now you could be forgiven for thinking that heading to the mall is a nice safe relaxing way to spend the day, well possibly, but not if your name is Michael Rosenbaum.

Our boy decided to indulge in one of his favorite pastimes, Hockey, unfortunately his love of the game this time leads him to spend a large part of Mother’s day in the ER room.

Why actors shouldn’t play hockey. The mall and now this. Most active Mothers Day Ive had in awhile.I actually feel cool http://t.co/chJXjkR9

Source: mrosenbaum711@Twitter

Poor baby, that looks sore. I am sure there are many of us here that would love to kiss it better for him

So it was off to the hospital for Michael to get a few stitches in his chin, and by the look of his latest tweet, Michael seemed a little traumatized by his trip to the ER.

I wish this guy in the ER would quit getting up and showing me his nutsac. I’ve already been through enough today. http://t.co/6MZyonPx

Source: mrosenbaum711@Twitter

After that Michael tweeted a video of him getting stitches. He was very brave and got the stitches with no pain killers. Well either brave or he doesnt like getting injections.

More fun chats in the ER. What a fun crew at Cedars. http://t.co/AnKWd0jh

Source: mrosenbaum711@Twitter

Poor boy his day didn’t turn out the way he expected. We hope that the rest of his night was more restful.

Take it easy Michael and think twice before heading to the mall the next time. And absolutely no Hockey on your Birthday in a couple of months, because you never know where it could lead.

And that’s how ends the long and busy day, Michael had. One thing we can be sure of, is that he won’t forget about it, not anytime soon, with all its good and less good moments.

Since Michael Rosenbaum decided to go back to his hometown Indiana to produce his new and independent feature movie called “Old Days”, which he wrote, co-directed and is even starring in it, he got the attention of a lot of persons who live there.

14 News, a channel broadcasting in Evansville, has interviewed Michael Rosenbaum while he was shooting a scene on the football field and the gym at Castle High School in Newburgh. As usual Michael was more than happy to share his thoughts about this dream come true movie.

Watch this full length interview offered by 14 News, and see how truly Michael Rosenbaum loves in hometown and believes in his project.

We also took the liberty to make something like 290 captures from this interview, that you can check out by visiting our gallery.

The local television station isn’t the only one who took the interest on Michael, Roger McBain, the Arts & entertainment reporter of Evansville Courier & Press, has also had the chance to talk to Michel Rosenbaum about his new project, and was invited to a typical shooting day and he even interacted with all the cast and crew that composes this new production. To check it out, click here.

There are also some very nice and interesting Behind the Scenes pictures that were taken during the rehearsals with his cast and crew at Castle High School on Thursday, that you can see while reading this interview, or that you can check out on our gallery. (you’ll also find other BTS pictures from a previous interview by CourierPress)

The production of “Old Days” started on March 11th, and it should be shooting in and around Newburgh and Evansville for three weeks.

Jim Owens is an actor whose only claim to fame is starring in a nationwide insurance commercial. Discouraged with the way his career is going, he decides to go back to the small town in Indiana where he grew up, for the holidays and his 15 year high school reunion. Eager to reunite with his old buddies and relive the glory days, Jim bumps into his high school sweetheart and is surprised to find that he still has feelings for her… even though she’s getting married in a week. After getting all of his friends in hot water with their wives and with his ex-girl friend’s wedding day approaching, Jim must make a decision that will change his life forever. Written by Michael Rosenbaum

Today, 17 March 2012, marks the fifth anniversary on the launch of our Michael Rosenbaum’s dedicated website. www.RosenbaumMedia.us . As I looked into the past and analyzed what I learned and the metamorphosis that the site went through, I thought it would be interesting to share it.

Website Platform

As we started our journey, we believed that LiveJournal was the right platform for us, but as time went by, we found out that there were a lot of limitations, and it would require lots of development. So we decided to migrate from LiveJournal to WordPress.

In terms of platforms, we worked with social networks like Twitter and Facebook to promote the site.

Website Content

Content was always our main focus, we strive to bring the most interesting content so that our readers enjoy surfing the website. With that in mind, we established contact with various persons who were involved with Michael Rosenbaum.

A lot of professional websites have trusted us with Exclusive materials they shared with us, and we did our best not to deceive them. For example our recent and exclusive interview with Ben Shelton, the producer of “The Daly Show“, Young Hollywood website has EXCLUSIVELY shared with us information and pictures from an interview they did with Michael Rosenbaum. Evansville Magazine and News4U have agreed to share with us materials they published on their magazines, and even Michael Rosenbaum himself shared with us pictures that were taken from the Whiffleball Tourney “a very private event” he attended to.

Secret Recipe for a Successful Website

I think that the most important thing that made RosenbaumMedia so successful among all of his fans, is the way we handle info and pictures we receive. We think that “respect” and “privacy” are the two key words that got your attention as well as Michael’s and his management, and that’s one of the reasons that convinced professional magazines and production to contact us and share with us some of the very exclusive materials we posted during these past 5 years.

Testimonials

Success, is not an imaginary thing I was looking for, it’s also an achievement of so many years of hard work, and there are so many things that proves me we are successful, for example all the emails I receive from all of you, and the positive feedbacks we got from professional contacts that trusted us, like the ones we got from YoungHollywood and Evansville Magazine :

Michael is very fortunate and privileged to have such a dedicated individual working on his behalf.
Should you need anything further, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us anytime.

It’s fun to connect with folks like you!

Source : Evansville Magazine

But I guess that the the top notch proof would be the two tweets that Michael Rosenbaum has posted on his own Twitter page, that made me realise that we finally achieved our goal :

<s>@</s>rosenbaummedia – thanks for the awesome site.
Thank You Note

I would like to thank the many persons who have contributed to or have browsed the website. We are indeed gratified that our website is meeting its objectives in:

Spreading the word about Michael Rosenbaum,

Keeping our readership informed,

Maintaining linkages and providing an outlet for Michael Rosenbaum’s activities and projects.

We invite as many persons as possible to view this evolving site and introduce it to your friends and family overseas. All are encouraged to submit articles, notices, activities, up-coming events, and other such information that may be shared with other fans.

Thanks to all.

Stay Tuned!

I am still working to improve the user experience and bring more exclusive materials to you, such things take a lot of time, and I’m hoping I’ll have all the necessary strength to continue doing it.

Looking forward to your comments!

Lollipop Chainsaw is the ‘un-deadly’ story of sweet and killer zombie-hunter Juliet Starling and her quest to uncover the root of a colossal zombie outbreak. With her wickedly awesome chainsaw in hand, Juliet slices, dices and splits her way through hordes of the undead, but soon realizes the horde is only the opening act to a festival of zombie rock lords determined to kill the chainsaw-wielding cheerleader. Lollipop Chainsaw is being developed by GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE, led by celebrated game developer Goichi Suda (aka SUDA 51) and featuring the musical compositions of the renowned Akira Yamaoka. In addition, Hollywood director and writer James Gunn (Super, Slither, Dawn of the Dead, Tromeo and Juliet) has brought his cult humor and edgy storytelling to Lollipop Chainsaw’s script.
